Officers at South Glos Council have given the green light to a controversial planning application for the erection of a large block of flats in gardens behind a row of shops on Coniston Road. The proposed development comprises four separate HMO dwellings providing a total of 22 bedsits. The applicant says the units are foreseen for use as student accommodation.
