The Patchway neighbourhood police team is inviting local people to a Senior Citizens’ Day this Wednesday (4th April). Officers hope the event will help to prevent older people from falling victim to doorstep criminals. These can be thieves who talk their way into homes to steal, often by claiming to be from a water or power company, or ‘rogue traders’
