Major build projects planned at local secondaries

Progress is being made on plans for major investment at two secondary schools in north Bristol. A scheme to completely replace the main buildings at Patchway Community School could be completed by 2024, while Abbeywood Community School is set to be extended in time for the 2023/24 academic year.

Options revealed for increasing secondary school places in North Fringe

The need to cater for a massive increase in expected demand for secondary school places in the Bristol North Fringe over the coming years looks set to see the building of a brand new school, the extensive redevelopment of an existing school and an increase in the intake of a third.
