At around 4pm on Friday 22nd June, an 86-year-old woman was at home in Callicroft Road, when a man knocked at the door asking about building work. The lady let the man into the house. When the man left, the victim noticed money had been taken.

Police are appealing for witnesses and information after a 44-year-old man was assaulted in the car park of the Coniston Community Centre in Coniston Road, Patchway. It happened at about 11:30pm on Saturday 2nd June 2012, when he was set upon by four men. Members of the public came to his aid, including a 41-year-old woman who was also assaulted.
