Police are appealing for witnesses and information after an attempted robbery in Patchway.
The incident occurred on Sunday 13th November 2011 at around 1:20pm.
The 18-year-old female victim was walking along a footpath from Coniston Road towards Gorse Covert.
She was approached by two men. The first man grabbed her shoulder bag and attempted to pull it away, but was unable to do so. The two men then became aware of a man walking towards them, and the second man said “leave it”. They both then ran off towards Gorse Covert.
Descriptions of the two men are:
- White male, normal build, aged between 15 yrs and 30 yrs, wearing a black hoody
- White male, aged between 15 yrs and 30 yrs
Nothing was stolen and no injury was caused.
