Charlton Hayes residents are being invited to attend their summer fun day on Saturday (13th June). This is the third community fun day for residents of this rapidly expanding community. With over 900 homes occupied, the community fun day plays a vital role in getting residents together to help create shared memories.
At this year’s event, a wide variety of activities will be on offer, many of which are free, including the face painting, a bouncy castle and the World Jungle circus skills workshop. There will be opportunities to meet staff from Southern Brooks Community Partnerships, the local developmental charity whose community development worker has led in the organising of this fun day.
Residents will also meet Caitlin, who is running a cultivate project until the autumn to plant edible foods across the development; this is a great opportunity for residents to make a positive mark on their new community.
The fun day will run from 11am to 2pm and there will be performances throughout the event. As before, it will be located at The Temporary Green, Ringsfield Lane, Charlton Hayes BS34 5AQ.
