Police are appealing to the public for witnesses and information following an armed robbery in Patchway this afternoon (Wednesday 17th October).
At around 1:50pm a man entered Boots the Opticians (formerly Dolland & Aitchison) on Coniston Road and threatened staff with a bladed instrument whilst demanding money.
The man made off with cash from the store.
Officers investigating this incident would now like to speak to a man who is described as white, around 5ft 8inches tall, and of a slim to medium build. He was wearing baggy style clothes, a hooded type jumper that was dark in colour, and a bandanna which had a camouflage pattern on it.
