HSS Hire, the national supplier of tool and equipment and outsourcing services, has opened a new Regional Distribution Centre on the Aztec West Bristol Park.
The 30,000 sq ft facility at 1550 Park Avenue [map] will become a key regional distribution hub for the group’s activities in the South West and Wales – providing extensive and more accessible hire services and support, including specialist training.
The new depot has been trading since before Christmas but held its official opening last week, when a press release put out by company stated:
“With ample customer parking, a large showroom and huge storage facilities on two levels as well as state of the art training facilities, the new supercentre continues HSS’ transformation from small high-street branches to large industrial supercentres and reaffirms their position as a logistical and technical partner to trade and business.”
The former HSS Hire branch on Station Road in Filton has now closed with existing members of staff transferring to the new depot and more than 30 additional new jobs being created.
