The Co-operative Group has announced today that it is bringing scores of new legal services jobs to its headquarters in the Aztec West Business Park.
Launching what is described as “the largest recruitment drive in the company’s history”, Co-operative Legal Services (CLS) said it would be creating up to 150 jobs across the business.
The majority of the positions will be at its North Bristol site while others will be based at its new family law unit in London.

Jenny Beck, head of Professional Practice in the Family Law Unit, said:

CLS, which was set up in 2006, currently employs more than 400 highly trained staff.
The company offers a range of legal services including: personal injury claims; will writing; probate and estate administration; conveyancing and employment law.
A Co-operative spokesperson gave the following examples of jobs being advertised:
- Family Team Leaders (Solicitors/Legal Executives) £28,000 – £50,000
- Family Case Workers (Solicitors/Legal Executives/Trainees/LPC Graduates) £19,000 – £28,000
- Probate Solicitors, Legal Executives and Case Handlers £20,000 – £50,000
- Personal Injury Litigators £25,000 – £40,000
- Personal Injury Team Leaders £35,000 – £48,000
