The hub provides a central base for a range of services from South Gloucestershire Council (SGC) and the NHS, working together for the benefit of the community.
Services available at the hub include:
- South Gloucestershire Council ‘One Stop Shop’
- Services for children, young people and families
- Services for adults with learning difficulties
- Patchway Library
- Volunteer Centre for Patchway, Filton and The Stokes
South Gloucestershire Council ‘One Stop Shop’
The One Stop Shop provides five customer service advisors, five interview rooms and has its own waiting area.
Staff can help with enquiries about all Council services, including:
- Hosuing Benefit
- Council Tax Benefit
- Council Tax
- Planning
- Housing
The One Stop Shop also runs a number of specialist surgeries where trained staff can talk through specific issues.
Opening hours for the One Stop Shop are:
- Monday to Thursday: 8:45am to 5pm
- Friday: 8:30am to 4:30pm

The range of family services available at the hub includes:
- Child and adolescent mental health services
- Community paediatricians
- Connexions services
- Educational psychologists
- Educational welfare
- Family support services
- Health visiting service

The hub maintains close links with schools an d colleges in South Gloucestershire to ensure that children, young people and families receive the right support and care to meet their specific needs.
Services for adults with learning difficulties
There is a specialist service for adults with learning difficulties – with planned activities and meetings (this service is by appointment only).
Patchway Library
Patchway Library provides a valuable source for the whole community. In addition to the wide range of books for all ages, it hires out DVDs and CDs. Free internet access is available. The library also provides photocopying and fax services.
